UPCOMING EVENT: California 8 Hours

If there’s one event where Audi would choose to kickstart its 2019 campaign then the California 8 Hours is surely it: First and second in both previous California 8H events, check! 100% pole position record: you bet! California 8H lap record: take a guess!

Laguna Seca was certainly a happy hunting ground for Audi’s previous-generation R8 LMS GT3, which makes way for the new Evo version in 2019. 
After successful participations in this race in 2017 and 2018, Audi Sport Team WRT will again appear at the start of the endurance race for Audi Sport at the circuit of Laguna Seca (USA) for the 2019 edition. 

The team provides a major Belgian contribution there. Audi Sport has confirmed Belgian drivers Frédéric Vervisch and Dries Vanthoor. Alongside the Belgian drivers two-time Super Pole winner Christopher Haase will complete the driver line-up. The trio will appear behind the steeringwheel of the Audi Sport Team WRT Audi R8 LMS with startingnumber #10.
