Our vision
At Team WRT, sustainability is part of our DNA. Since 2021, we have taken concrete steps to reduce our carbon footprint and support biodiversity. One of our key actions is backing conservation projects in Ecuador, where premontane tropical forests are disappearing at a rate of 9.8% each year. By helping create natural corridors between the Sumaco National Park and the Antisana Ecological Reserve, we contribute to protecting endangered species and restoring fragile ecosystems.
Beyond the track, our vision is to grow as a responsible team, working with our partners to build a credible ESG strategy, where motorsport excellence and sustainability go hand in hand.

OUR AWARDS
FIA 3-STAR CERTIFICATE
In 2024, WRT completed a full FIA Environmental Accreditation on site audit covering all areas of our operations, from factory processes to trackside activities. The assessment required detailed documentation, evidence-based reporting, and a comprehensive review of our governance, environmental practices, long-term sustainability strategy, and a full visit of our former workshop in Mons.
The FIA sustainability team carried out a rigorous evaluation of our procedures, data, and continuous-improvement actions, providing constructive feedback that helped us further strengthen our internal processes. This collaborative work led to WRT achieving the FIA 3-Star Environmental Accreditation, the highest level awarded.
This certification marks an important milestone, but it is only the beginning. As part of the FIA’s cycle, WRT will undergo a re-audit in 2026, and we are already working on new improvements to maintain and exceed these standards.
Our commitment remains unchanged: to lead by example in sustainable motorsport and to continue progressing with the same determination and team spirit that brought us here.
SRO SUSTAINABILITY AWARD
Awarded to WRT as a recognition of its continuous efforts to reduce the environmental impact of motorsport. This price highlights our initiatives such as carbon offsetting, waste reduction, and sustainable logistics, setting an example for the entire racing industry. W Racing Team has won it in 2021, 2023, 2024 and 2025.
ACO Challenge prizes
Granted by the Automobile Club de l’Ouest during the legendary 24 Hours of Le Mans, this award celebrates our innovative projects combining high performance with sustainable practices. It underlines our ability to align endurance racing with ambitious ESG commitments. Team WRT has it won twice.
Prix Coup de Coeur
This distinction rewards WRT’s strong social and environmental engagement beyond racing. From community projects to educational initiatives and charity support, the prize reflects the positive impact we strive to generate for society as a whole. It has been awarded thanks to our 2024 ACO Challenge project with the Fondation Arthritis.
