Born on December 21, 1989, in Tokyo, Japan, Ryuichiro Tomita is a Japanese racing driver who competed with Team WRT for three seasons. He joined the Belgian squad in 2020, driving the Audi R8 LMS GT3 in the GT World Challenge Europe Sprint and Endurance Cups.

Throughout his time with the team, Tomita impressed with his adaptability, consistency, and speed, delivering strong performances alongside teammates such as Dries Vanthoor and Charles Weerts. In 2021, together with Frank Bird, he secured runner-up honours in the Silver Cup of the GT World Challenge Europe, underlining his competitiveness and valuable contribution to WRT’s success.
