Robert Kubica

Born on December 7, 1984, in Kraków, Poland, Robert Kubica is a Polish racing driver known for his remarkable career in both Formula 1 and endurance racing. He became the first Polish driver in Formula 1, debuting in 2006 with BMW Sauber and secured his first and only F1 victory at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.

After a severe rally crash in 2011 that nearly ended his career, Kubica made a remarkable recovery and transitioned to endurance racing. He joined WRT in the European Le Mans Series and the FIA World Endurance Championship, contributing to WRT’s success in the LMP2 category, including winning the LMP2 championship in 2023.
