Ricardo Sánchez Gomez

Born on January 2^nd, 1990, in Mexico, Ricardo Sánchez is a Mexican racing driver who competed with Team WRT in the Blancpain GT Series. He first rose to prominence by winning the GT Academy NISMO PlayStation® competition, a program by Nissan, PlayStation®, and Polyphony Digital that transforms the world’s best Gran Turismo players into real racing drivers.

Since then, Ricardo has gained experience in both GT3 and prototype racing, including LMP3 machinery, before joining WRT to race the Audi R8 LMS GT3 in Blancpain GT Series Endurance Cup events.
