Born on July 14, 1979, in Auckland, New Zealand, Matt Halliday is a versatile racing driver with experience in single-seaters, GT racing and endurance events.

In 2013, Halliday joined Team WRT to compete in the Blancpain Endurance Series, alongside Rahel Frey and Nikolaus Mayr-Melnhof. The trio raced under the WRT banner in the Pro-Am category.
