Marco Wittmann

Born on November 24, 1989, in Fürth, Germany, Marco Wittmann is a highly accomplished BMW M Works driver and two-time DTM champion (2014, 2016). After a successful career in Formula racing and DTM, he shifted focus to endurance racing.

In 2024, Wittmann joined Team WRT as part of BMW’s Hypercar program in the FIA World Endurance Championship before transitioning to the IMSA program with RLL. In 2025, he returned to Team WRT for two key races: the 24 Hours of Spa, driving alongside Dries Vanthoor and Sheldon van der Linde, and the WEC round in São Paulo, where he stepped in for Robin Frijns.
