Kelvin van der Linde

Born on May 13, 1996, in Johannesburg, South Africa, Kelvin van der Linde is a highly accomplished racing driver who joined BMW M Motorsport in 2025. He competes in the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup and the FIA World Endurance Championship (WEC) in the LMGT3 category, driving the BMW M4 GT3 EVO.

Before joining BMW, van der Linde had a distinguished career in GT racing. He won the 24 Hours of Nürburgring twice (2017 and 2022) and secured the ADAC GT Masters championship twice (2014 and 2019). He also stood on the podium multiple times at the 24 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, including with Team WRT.

In 2025, van der Linde joined BMW M Motorsport as a works driver, reuniting with his brother Sheldon van der Linde, who has been part of the BMW M Motorsport family since 2019.

Kelvin enjoyed a remarkable first season with his new manufacturer, securing multiple titles including the GT World Challenge Overall Championship and the Intercontinental GT Challenge title, along with major victories at prestigious events such as the Bathurst 12 Hour, Suzuka 1000 km, and Indianapolis 8 Hour.
