Inspired by legends like Nigel Mansell and modern-day champion Kimi Raikonnen, Ian's racing journey is defined by dedication, growth, and a deep respect for the craft. Among his favorite circuits is the iconic Road America, where adrenaline and precision meet at every turn.

Ian's career is filled with milestone moments, including:

- First win in Vauxhall Junior Donington Park that got my career going (1993)
- Driving for Ron Tauranac – taught me a lot that I use to this day
- Winning Sebring 12hr 3 times
- Going 4 for 4 wins at Road America in World Challenge
- The amazing co drivers and Teams I have been fortunate to Drive with and for – feel very fortunate
