André Lotterer
Born on November 19, 1981, in Duisburg, Germany, André Lotterer is a distinguished German racing driver of Peruvian and Belgian descent, best known for his outstanding success in endurance racing. He began his career in Formula BMW, later competing in the German and British Formula 3 Championships. In 2002, he became a test driver for Jaguar’s Formula 1 team and made a one-off F1 race appearance with Caterham at the 2014 Belgian Grand Prix.
Lotterer’s endurance career is marked by three overall victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans (2011, 2012, 2014) and two FIA World Endurance Championship titles (2012, 2024). He has raced for leading teams such as Audi, Porsche, and Rebellion Racing, and has also competed with W Racing Team (WRT) in major endurance events.
