Alex Yoong
Born on July 20, 1976, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, is a Malaysian racing driver. He made history as the first Malaysian to compete in Formula One, driving for Minardi in 2001 and 2002. Following his F1 career, Yoong transitioned to various racing disciplines, including A1 Grand Prix, the 24 Hours of Le Mans and GT racing.
In the 2010s, Alex Yoong joined Team WRT to compete in the 12 Hours of Malaysia Merdeka Endurance Race at Sepang, driving an Audi R8 LMS as part of the Audi R8 LMS Cup program.
