The Fun Cup is a unique concept in the world of motor racing that is aimed at all capabilities in motorsport, from novice drivers to experienced racers.
This championship organised in Belgium by M3 Events, is the best way to safely enjoy motorsport at the wheel of the legendary Beetle, which has been transformed into a real race car! It is reliable and efficient, whilst meeting the highest standards of the FIA (International Motorsport Federation).
With hundreds of cars assembled since the foundation of the Fun Cup, WRT is proud to be able to call itself the ‘biggest car manufacturer’ in Belgium. WRT's 3rd generation Fun Cup continues its tradition of affordable, accessible racing for all skill levels, from newcomers to professionals. With over 500 cars sold, the latest version embraces lightweight efficiency, inspired by F1 and WRC technology.
Built on a tubular frame chassis with a 2L engine, the Fun Cup maintains its iconic ‘Beetle’ look. Since 2012, the 3rd Gen has featured a sequential gearbox, power steering, aluminium rims, and modern safety standards. This enhances reliability, drivability, and pure racing fun.
Engineering
WRT developed the Evo3 generation and continues to refine and enhance it with ongoing improvements to ensure performance, safety, and reliability.
Technical support
We provide full technical support for both the Belgian and French championships. Between races, the same expertise is available directly from our workshop.
During the iconic 25 Hours of Spa, our dedicated Fun Cup Technical Center is on-site, staffed with four specialists ready to assist with any issue: engine, gearbox, chassis, electrical systems, and more.

Racing
One of many reasons this competition is unique, is the fact passengers can experience the race from within, thanks to the two-seater category. Another asset of this enjoyable competition, is racing at many legendary tracks such as Zolder, Assen and Zandvoort. The 25 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps is the headline event of one of the most affordable motorsport competitions in the world, which offers a perfect balance of fun and sport. It is undoubtedly the highlight of the championship, and the fun is not limited to the racetrack.
For some special events, we also bring our cars to race with our customers. These are fun and unique trips for our team.
THE LONGEST RACE IN THE WORLD
The 25 Hours of Spa is a family-friendly event that offers a laid-back and enjoyable experience for everyone. With 120 cars in the starting blocks, almost 600 drivers on the entry list, 350 passengers in the two-seater category and 33 hours of live video, the 25 Hours is a true Belgian motorsport festival! In addition, 15,000 spectators gather annually on site to attend the world's longest and most enjoyable race, with at least 30,000 people watching the race on Live TV.
